The chamber is proud to spotlight chamber member, Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home and Cremation Service. Hillsman Hix Funeral Home has been a supporter of the 澳门威尼斯人博彩官网 since 2014.

Hlllsman-Hix Funeral Home has been in business in 澳门威尼斯人博彩官网 for many years. Owners Jim and Carol Hix moved their family to 澳门威尼斯人博彩官网 in 1986 and became the proud owners of Hillsman-Hix Funeral Home. Their love for a small-town community drew them to 澳门威尼斯人博彩官网 to raise their children and open their business. The business has grown over the years and a crematory was added in 2022. The florist shop is also a vital part of the business, not only to serve the needs for funeral services and memorials but offers flowers and gifts for year-round occasions.

Jim and Carol are both Licensed Funeral Directors in addition to their son, Anthony Hix, daughter, Jennifer Hayghe and son-in-law Tom Hayghe. Jim is an ordained minister, celebrant , a notary, and a licensed insurance agent. They are all active members of the Central District Funeral Directors Association. Jim is a member of the local Ruritans (serving as past president), Masonic Lodge and an active and serving member of Good Samaritan Catholic Church. Carol is active in the 澳门威尼斯人博彩官网 Garden Club, a member of the JL Hamner Library Board of Trustees and an active and serving member of Good Samaritan Catholic Church.

Both Jim and Carol said getting to know the people of 澳门威尼斯人博彩官网 and helping them in a difficult time is the most rewarding experience they have as business owners.
